When Reinhardt was a lad of 17, in 1835, a few of these survivors of the famous fight were yet alive and their memories active and fresh. Young Reinhardt wandered over the battlefield many times with these leading characters in the great drama and he got from them this first-hand account of the outstanding incident which occurred on the memorable day of June 20th, 1780.

BuzzTracker is an ingenious web tool that sifts through news stories from Google News and identifies where the news is happening. It then generates a map of the world with circles around the cities of the news, the size of the circles determined by the number of news articles. This video is a composite of the summer of 2005. Pay particular attention to July 7 and the following days.

This podcast was intended to be an interview with Tim Tyson, the principal of Mabry Middle School. Like the program with Bob Sprankle several months ago, I e-mailed a set of questions to Tyson for his answers. What he sent back was so overwhelmingly inspiring, that I decided to post it as is, and not as an interview.

Not a lot to say about this one. I had the privilege of working at the MACUL conference last week, and made a point of having my iPod and iTalk with me all the time. In this episode, I interview a tech director who is using video conferencing to put deaf and hearing impaired students in contact with other hearing impaired students in other parts of the continent.
